How do I get started?:

Send over your idea, project type (cover art, poster, merch, etc.), and any references. THE MORE DETAIL IN THE INFORMATION THE BETTER! (I'll even accept a moodboard or a pintrest page. If It's a music related project, feel free to send me a few songs, or even the whole record if you feel inclined. It goes a long long way towards helping get the ideas flowing.) I’ll confirm scope, pricing, and timeline before anything begins.

How does payment work?:

A 50% deposit is required to start.  

The remaining 50% is due before final files are delivered.

Are deposits refundable?  

No—deposits are non-refundable once work has started.

How many revisions do I get?  

Most projects include 2–3 rounds of revisions.  

Small tweaks are totally fine—major direction changes may cost extra.

How long does it take?  

Turnaround time depends on the project and how quickly feedback is given.  

If you have a deadline, let me know upfront.

What can I use the artwork for?  

You can use it for:

- Streaming platforms  

- Social media & promotion  

- Physical releases (CD, cassette, vinyl)

Do I own the artwork?  

You’re paying for usage rights, not full ownership.  

I retain the copyright, but you’re free to use the work for your music and brand.

Can I use the artwork for merch?  

Merch use (shirts, stickers, etc.) is handled per project.  

This may be included, added as a fee, or set up as a royalty.

Will I get the source files (PSD, AI, etc.)?  

Not by default.  

If you need them, we can discuss that before finalizing the project.

When do I receive the final files?  

Once the project is approved and fully paid, files are delivered digitally.

Do I need to credit you?  

Credit is always appreciated:  

“Artwork by [cunabear / @cunabear]”

Can a project be canceled?:

If the project is still in the planning phase and work has not started, the deposit is refunded.

If the project is canceled after work has already started, the deposit is not refunded.

If a lot of work on the project has already been completed or the project is completed before the cancellation, the deposit is not refunded.
